Nebivolol reduces heart rate and cardiac workload while also producing vasodilatory effects. Hydrochlorothiazide increases the excretion of sodium and water through the kidneys, reducing circulating fluid volume. Together, they help lower and maintain blood pressure.

- Headache
- Fatigue or tiredness
- Increased urination
- Slow heart rate (bradycardia)
- Nausea or stomach discomfort

Hydrochlorothiazide may also cause electrolyte disturbances, while nebivolol can lower heart rate and blood pressure.
Precautions :
- Monitor blood pressure and pulse regularly.
- Periodic monitoring of kidney function and electrolytes, particularly sodium and potassium, may be required.
- Use cautiously in patients with diabetes, as beta-blockers can mask some symptoms of low blood sugar and hydrochlorothiazide may affect glucose levels.
- Use cautiously in patients with asthma or bronchospastic disease.
- Patients with gout or high uric acid should inform their doctor because hydrochlorothiazide can increase uric acid.
- Patients with significant kidney or liver impairment require particular medical supervision; the fixed-dose combination should not be used in severe renal impairment and is contraindicated in certain hepatic impairment situations.
