Description

This medication is primarily prescribed for the management of type 2 diabetes mellitus. It helps control blood sugar levels by addressing multiple aspects of glucose metabolism. Gliclazide Ip 80 Mg + Metformin 500 Mg combination medication is also used to reduce the risk of long-term complications associated with diabetes, such as cardiovascular disease, neuropathy, nephropathy, and retinopathy. By maintaining stable blood sugar levels and improving insulin sensitivity, this medication helps mitigate the adverse effects of hyperglycemia on various organs and tissues in the body. The dosage of Gliclazide Ip 80 Mg + Metformin 500 Mg may vary depending on the patient's blood sugar levels It is typically taken orally, usually once or twice daily with meals to reduce the risk of gastrointestinal side effects. Hypoglycemia (low blood sugar), Gastrointestinal symptoms such as nausea, diarrhea, or abdominal discomfort, Headache, Dizziness, Weight gain (less common with metformin).
