VRI-CAB 0.5 TABLET

Cabergoline 0.5 mg is a dopamine agonist used primarily to treat disorders associated with elevated prolactin (hyperprolactinemia). It works by stimulating dopamine receptors in the pituitary gland, thereby reducing prolactin secretion. Lowering prolactin levels helps restore normal menstrual cycles and ovulation in women, improves fertility, reduces abnormal breast milk production (galactorrhea), and helps improve testosterone levels and sexual function in men. It is also used in the management of prolactin-secreting pituitary tumors (prolactinomas) and, in selected cases, for suppression of lactation when medically indicated.
