VRITEL CL 80 TABLET
Telmisartan (80 mg) + Cilnidipine (10 mg) is a dual-mechanism antihypertensive combination used for effective and sustained control of high blood pressure. Telmisartan, an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB), relaxes blood vessels by blocking angiotensin-mediated vasoconstriction, thereby reducing systemic vascular resistance. Cilnidipine, a dual L-type and N-type calcium channel blocker, decreases peripheral vascular resistance and suppresses sympathetic overactivity. Together, they provide 24-hour blood pressure control, reduce cardiovascular workload, minimize reflex tachycardia, and offer renal protection—especially beneficial in hypertensive patients with diabetes or kidney involvement. ❤️🩺
📌 Indications :
- Essential hypertension
- Moderate to severe hypertension
- Uncontrolled BP on monotherapy Hypertension with diabetes mellitus
- Hypertension with chronic kidney disease (CKD)
- High cardiovascular risk patients Prevention of stroke and myocardial infarction (risk reduction)
💊 Dosage :
- Usual Dose: One tablet once daily.
- Preferably taken at the same time each day.
- Dose adjustment should be done strictly under medical supervision.

- Store below 25°C–30°C (as per label specification).
- Keep in a dry place, protected from light and moisture.
- Keep out of reach of children.
⚠️ Precautions :
- Monitor blood pressure regularly.
- Use cautiously in patients with severe renal or hepatic impairment.
- Monitor serum potassium levels (risk of hyperkalemia).
- Avoid during pregnancy (contraindicated in 2nd & 3rd trimester).
