Montelukast (10 mg) + Fexofenadine (120 mg) is commonly prescribed for the management of allergic disorders involving the respiratory tract and skin.
Montelukast blocks leukotriene receptors, reducing airway inflammation, bronchoconstriction, and mucus production.
Fexofenadine blocks peripheral H1-histamine receptors, relieving symptoms like sneezing, itching, and runny nose without significant sedation.
This combination provides dual-action relief in allergic conditions by targeting both histamine-mediated and leukotriene-mediated pathways.
