
Glycopyrronium 25 mcg inhalation solution is a long-acting antimuscarinic bronchodilator (LAMA) used mainly for the long-term maintenance treatment of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), including chronic bronchitis and emphysema. It works by blocking muscarinic receptors in the airways, relaxing the bronchial muscles and helping keep the airways open, thereby reducing symptoms such as breathlessness, wheezing, coughing and chest tightness. It is a maintenance medicine and is not intended for immediate relief of a sudden COPD attack.
Indications :
- Maintenance treatment of COPD
- Chronic bronchitis associated with COPD
- Emphysema associated with COPD
- Helps improve airflow and lung function
- Helps reduce COPD-related breathing symptoms
- Long-term control of bronchospasm associated with COPD
Common Side Effects :
- Dry mouth
- Headache
- Sore throat
- Cough or throat irritation
- Constipation
- Nausea or stomach discomfort
- Nasal congestion/runny nose
- Dizziness may occur in some patients
Serious / Important Side Effects :
Seek medical attention if there is:
- Difficulty passing urine or urinary retention
- Eye pain, blurred vision or halos around lights, particularly if the medicine gets into the eyes
- Rapid or irregular heartbeat
- Severe allergic reaction, facial/throat swelling or worsening breathing
- Chest pain or significant worsening of breathing

Storage :
- Store at room temperature, away from excessive heat and moisture.
- Keep the respules/vials in their original foil pouch or packaging until use.
- Protect from direct light.

- Keep out of reach of children.
- Follow the specific manufacturer's instructions regarding how long an opened foil pouch/vial can be kept; for some nebulizer formulations, unused vials should be used within 7 days after opening the foil pouch.
