Budesonide 1 mg Nebuliser Suspension is an inhaled corticosteroid used to reduce inflammation and swelling in the airways. It is primarily prescribed for the long-term management and prevention of bronchial asthma in adults and children who require nebulised therapy. By decreasing airway inflammation, it helps improve breathing, reduces wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, and shortness of breath, and lowers the frequency of asthma attacks. It is also commonly used in children for the treatment of croup (laryngotracheobronchitis) under medical supervision. Budesonide is a controller (preventive) medicine and should be used regularly as prescribed. It is not intended for the immediate relief of sudden asthma attacks.
