Medroxyprogesterone Acetate 10 mg is a synthetic progesterone used to treat various menstrual and hormonal disorders caused by progesterone deficiency. It helps regulate the menstrual cycle, induces withdrawal bleeding in women with absent or irregular periods, controls abnormal uterine bleeding, and protects the uterine lining in women receiving estrogen therapy after menopause. It may also be prescribed for certain gynecological conditions as directed by a healthcare professional.

Indications :

  • Irregular menstrual cycles
  • Secondary amenorrhea (absence of menstrual periods)
  • Abnormal uterine bleeding due to hormonal imbalance
  • Endometrial hyperplasia prevention during estrogen replacement therapy
  • Dysfunctional uterine bleeding
  • Hormonal imbalance associated with progesterone deficiency
  • Selected gynecological conditions as advised by a physician.


Precautions :

  • Not recommended in patients with undiagnosed vaginal bleeding until the cause is evaluated.
