Flupenthixol 0.5 mg + Melitracen 10 mg is used to help manage depression, anxiety, depressive neurosis and psychosomatic conditions associated with anxiety, apathy or low mood. It works by influencing neurotransmitters involved in mood and emotional regulation.

- Depression
- Anxiety associated with depression
- Depressive neurosis
- Psychogenic depression
- Psychosomatic symptoms accompanied by anxiety and apathy
- Masked depression
- Certain depressive states associated with menopause
- Dysphoria and depression associated with alcohol or drug dependence
Common Side Effects :
- Dry mouth
- Constipation
- Blurred vision
- Dizziness or drowsiness
- Increased heart rate/palpitations
- Restlessness or agitation
- Tremor
- Muscle stiffness
- Urinary retention
- Weight gain
- Postural/orthostatic hypotension
- Increased prolactin levels
Important: Rare but serious reactions can include abnormal heart rhythm and neuroleptic malignant syndrome.
